Founder’s Day at the Park

A record crowd celebrated Cooper City’s 61st birthday on March 14th this year. The all-day event is the city’s biggest of the year. Residents kicked off the day with a 5K Color Run. At each mile mark, runners were doused from head to tow in different colored powder. The run set the day’s fun early, and raised money for the Relay for Life.

After the run, community members celebrated with a parade, antique car show, food booths, community performances, arts & crafts show, bingo, children’s activities, bounce houses, Business Expo, B.S.O. Police and Fire Expo, a live concert in the park featuring Sucker Punch, and fireworks!
